Back to Life

Last Thursday, I emerged from my spider hole, and returned to so-called civilization, looking much like Saddam. I haven't quite recovered, though. A classmate asked me yesterday why I was walking around stooped over; the contractures will take some time to stretch away.

We had Thanksgiving on Monday up here, which resulted in a nice dinner at a classmate's place. I started nephrology the next day. It's fun so far; maybe I should go into nephro...

I have wondered before about Bin Ladin. He is a tall guy and if he is hiding out in a "cave" as they say, he must spend a lot of his day hunched over. Or maybe they have dug some particularly large chambers for him so he can have a stretch every once in awhile.

Not that I am comparing you to Osama B L :)

lol! you'll have to pick up a residency in no time ;)
Nephro is really cool, I like it a lot and the few days I've spent on the transplant ward and dialysis unit were rather interesting. But I'm not sure it's my calling. How long will you be in nephro?

Nephrology?! I don't understand kidneys one little bit, not even at all.

Glad to have you back, even if it is slightly less tall!

Ah, you'll notice that Osama and I are never seen together. I'm sure he's getting better treatment than me, though.

I'm in nephro for a full four weeks... three weeks left. I have a feeling I'm just going to apply to internal, to put off the decision about what to specialize in...

I don't know next to nothing about nephro too, hehe. I'd better get some studying in tonight...
