Educational Reading

I didn't get very far in my GI text this weekend; just a few pages.

Instead, I finished reading the story of Buddha... in comic book form. Made me want to go to India.

I wish that we had textbooks in comic book form.

Maybe that is why I like the anatomy colouring book so much. It is the closest thing to a comic book I have been near in awhile.

Maybe it's time for me to finally spring for the anatomy colouring book. :)

am, I'm guessing there are no accounting comic books either, eh?

Doubtful...but I've finally realized what I'm so slow at reading. I am too attentive to detail! I'm fantastic at proof reading and finding errors. So that leads me to believe that when I'm reading I look for every t to be crosses and every i to be dotted. And if you think about it, there are thousands of t's and i's a book! Hence when I'm so slow! I like the theory. I'm not sure if it is true or not...

If you have managed this long you probably can go without the colouring book. But I do find it good stress reduction. I can pretend that I am 8 and learning medicine at the same time.

So, how's GI doing?

Very well, actually. :) I have come to the conclusion today that there is nothing better in the world for me than paediatric surgery. I'll post again very soon, maybe tonight sometime, if I find the time.

I didn't end up buying the colouring book yet... gotta get on that. I need to learn all anatomy, ASAP!

Oh, and a.m., I'm an extremely slow reader as well. But, I have survived this long, only by having the skill to actually read what I'm reading, if that makes any sense.
