Today is day zero for our class' beard-growing contest. This naturally brought up the subject of Aries on Xena. I forgot that, in the post-Xena years, that actor had died in an accident... a blow to the progress of human beards.
In other news, Google Earth has finally been released for the Mac. I discovered this around 2:30 a.m. last night, and paid for it with decreased sleep.
Things are pretty dull around here, preparing for our next exam, next Friday.

I was checking out the photos of my apartment, and found that they were shot just before noon, sometime in mid-winter; you can tell from the shadows and light snow covering. I tried to recognize the cars in our back alley, and couldn't, nor could I see my motorcycle. The shots are copyright 2005, so I was thinking that they must have been from last winter. However, when I looked further afield, around the hospital, I also saw that construction that was completed last February had not yet been started yet in the photos, so they must be at least two years old...
But, they are nice and high res.
