It's been another quiet week. Just studying or wasting time, these days. It's actually Thanksgiving today, and I was invited for dinner by Big Poppa, but backed out for an evening of study instead. Happily, I really have gotten down to it.
The only event of note is that I have suddenly become engrossed in the Trashcan Sinatras. A fellow former Endersian supplied me with an mp3 from them about five years ago, and the song finally got through to my limbic system this weekend.

What subject are you in these days? I envy you for being able to motivate yourself to study ;)
It's time to register for the MedGames in Montreal. I know your uni is invited, have you heard of the event (maybe it's a bit early for you though)?
We're doing neurology, still. We have exams on Monday and Tuesday, and then we're moving on to repro, which is mostly obs/gyn. Actually, I had a great day of studying yesterday. :) I went out to a Chapters in the suburbs, and sat in their Starbucks for the afternoon.
Ah, medgames. It's soooo far away, though. I only leave the province for electives and Christmas. :(
Manitoba usually comes (dunno which faculty). But I agree Alberta is quite a ride from Quebec. Luckily, we're only a few hours from Montreal.
Do you like neuro? I find it interesting, although I really don't like the way the course is given. There's no link between the small groups (clinical neuro) and big group lectures so it's like if we had 2 different classes. It's confusing at times, other courses dispensed like that had it better.
I loved OB/GYN! Hope you have fun :)
Funny, I had the same feelings about neuro. I like it, but I wasn't too fond of the organization of the class. We had the same disconnect between small groups and lectures...
I was roped into a self reflective stream by miette. I know you probably have other things to do with an exam looming and all, but ... Tag. You're it.
